Topic: Mercy Awaits the Honest Heart

Scripture (KJV)

Proverbs 28:13

“…whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.”

Devotional

God does not reward perfection; He responds to honesty.

– Mercy meets the heart that confesses and turns away from wrongdoing. God’s mercy is not earned through effort but received through humility.

– Mercy restores dignity.

– Mercy restores hope.

– Mercy restores identity.

Honesty before God opens the door to compassion.

Prayer

Father, I thank You because I know You hear me. Let Your will be done.

Lord, I come before You honestly and humbly. Thank You for Your mercy that meets me in my weakness. Strengthen me to walk in integrity and truth.

Let mercy restore my hope and renew my spirit.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
